Sitting on a couch should be easy, right?
Not so with these sleek red contraptions, which are proving to be a real obstacle for people at the New York Times. Erin McCann documented the new couches in her office, saying that no amount of education can help her figure out how to sit on them.

Maybe you're supposed to sit backwards on the couch, putting your laptop on that ledge and allowing your feet to have a little feet cave as you work? Or perhaps that ledge is for you to lay down and thus allow your head to have a little head cave?
