Nothing sets off a good binge watching sesh like Netflix's autoplay feature.

Still, sometimes the feature, which automatically begins the next episode as the previous one is wrapping up, is more of a nuisance than a help.

What You Need
  • Netflix account

Step 1: Step 1

To disable these autoplaying videos, you'll need to adjust your playback settings.

Step 2: Step 2

Head over to your main account settings, scroll down to "my profile" and select "playback settings."

Step 3: Step 3

From there, scroll down to the bottom, find "auto-play" and uncheck the box that says "play next episode automatically."

Step 4: Step 4

Make sure to save your settings once you've unchecked the box but that's all you have to do.

Whether you think it's annoying or you're just trying to kick your binge watching habit, there's an easy way to disable the feature.

Officially called "post-play," autoplaying is enabled by default (thanks Netflix, for enabling our binge watching habit). It looks a bit different on every device, but you can tell when it's enabled because you'll see something like this once the credits start rolling.

If you use a Netflix account with multiple profiles, it's important to note that the playback settings will only be changed for your profile. So if you want to change them for multiple profiles, you'll need to repeat this process for each one.
