This weekend, tens of thousands around the globe are set to participate in the second big push for gun control this month.

More than 800 events will take place worldwide on March 24 as part of the "March for Our Lives," a mass demonstration encouraging kids and families to take the streets to protest gun violence in schools and communities.

All of this comes after students, teachers and faculty members across the country walked out in a bold stand against gun violence. It was an organized protest to honor, among others, the 17 killed in a mass hooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida on Feb. 14. Since then, many have been calling for stricter gun control laws in the United States.

March for Our Lives is hitting most major cities across the world, but there are dozens of local marches happening outside of metro areas as well, from Nantucket, Massachusetts to Lincoln, Nebraska. Here's a screenshot of all the marches happening in the United States, along with a list of some of the major marches around the world. Click here to find your local march.

How to participate if you're unable to march

If, for any reason, you're unable to march this weekend, there are still numerous ways to take action on gun control.

Tumblr will be getting a giant makeover on the day of the march, embedding a livestream of the march on Washington, D.C., at the top of its website on Saturday. It'll also be surfacing content related to the protest and gun violence prevention, all in partnership with Everytown for Gun Safety, an advocacy organization working to end gun violence and build safer communities. Tumblr will also keep users engaged in the issue through the midterm elections and beyond.

You can also donate to notable, established organizations that are working to regulate gun control. One such group is the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence, which has the goal of cutting the number of gun-related deaths in half by 2025. Another is the Giffords Courage to Fight Gun Violence, co-funded by former Arizona House Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, who survived a mass shooting in 2011.

Here are a few other organizations to keep in mind:

Beyond that, you can always contact your local state representatives and members of Congress to show support. You can make your voice heard in Congress by filling out this form.
