Apple's watchOS 11 public beta should give you a sneak peek into some new features announced at WWDC 2024, including the new Vitals tool (i.e., tracks and analyzes Apple Watch sleep health metrics for a deeper understanding of your daily health status), the new Translate app, and more.

1.You cannot install the watchOS 11 public beta without first ensuring that your companion iPhone is running the iOS 18 public beta.

2.Now that your iPhone is running iOS 18 public beta, go to the Watch app.

3.Tap on "General" followed by "Software Update."

4.Tap on "watchOS 11 public beta." (If you don't see it, it may be because you're not enrolled in Apple's beta program.)

5.On the top-left corner, tap on "Back," which will resurface the Software Update page.

6. Place your Apple Watch on a charger.

7.Tap on "Download and Install" followed by "Agree."

8.You may be prompted to enter your passcode on your Apple watch. If so, do it before hitting "Proceed."

You should now see the progress bar under "watchOS 11 Beta."

Wait for your Apple Watch to install watchOS 11 public beta, which could take anywhere from a few minutes to a whole hour. (It took Mashable about 33 minutes to install watchOS 11 public Beta.) The official, ready-for-rollout version of watchOS 11 Beta is expected to launch later this year.
