According to LeanIn.org, Latina women make 55 cents for every dollar made by a white man, which accounts for more than 1 million dollars lost over their lifetime. And, as the Economic Policy Institute reports, the population has also faced disproportionate economic effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Latina women aren't the only ones affected by a pay gap. It takes Black women 8 extra months to match the wages of white men and 10 months for Native American women.
