Screenings will take place in over 500 theaters in the U.S. and Canada. They begin Dec. 31 at 8 p.m. ET, timed to the finale's release time on Netflix. Not able to catch the series finale on New Year's Eve proper? The screenings will also continue throughout the day on Jan. 1.

Where can I get Stranger Things Season 5 finale tickets?

Fans can now check showtimes and reserve seats by visiting the Stranger Things Season 5 finale site. Tickets will also be available through ticketing sites like Fandango, as well as through specific theater sites like AMC, Regal, and Cinemark.

The finale, titled "The Rightside Up," will be two hours and five minutes long, Netflix confirmed. That makes it shorter than Season 4's two and a half hour-long finale, but still longer than the finales of the first three seasons.

Based on the first four episodes of Stranger Things Season 5 alone, it's clear those two hours are going to have a lot to wrap up — and that's before we add Volume 2, out Dec. 25, to the mix! What's going to happen with Will's (Noah Schnapp) newfound powers? And what does Henry Creel/Vecna's (Jamie Campbell Bower) really have in store for Hawkins' children? We're itching to return to the Upside Down to find out.

Stranger Things 5: The Finale hits theaters Dec. 31 and Jan. 1.

Stranger Things Season 5, Volume 1 is now streaming. Volume 2 premieres Dec. 25 at 8 p.m. ET, and the series finale premieres Dec. 31 at 8 p.m. ET.
