Just how thin is the HP Spectre, the world's thinnest laptop?
The Spectre, HP's latest luxe laptop, is a beauty to behold. It's also the thinnest laptop we've ever seen, with a thickness of just 0.41 inches.
That's thinner than all of Apple's laptops, including the new Macbook, which measures 0.52 inches. Heck, it's even thinner than a AAA battery.
Laptops have come a very long way from the 8.8-inch thick Osborne 1, the first commercially successful portable computer released in 1981.
