LOS ANGELES -- Over 500 episodes and more than 20 original movies from The Disney-ABC Television Group’s suite of networks is headed to Hulu, thanks to a new expanded licensing agreement between the companies.

Hulu, co-owned by by 21st Century Fox, Walt Disney Co. and NBCUniversal, will become the exclusive subscription video-on-demand home to seven shows.

That includes: Disney Channel’s hit spy comedy K.C. Undercover (starring Zendaya); Disney XD’s animated series Gravity Falls and Star vs. The Forces of Evil; and Disney Junior's Sheriff Callie’s Wild West and Henry Hugglemonster.

Hulu also acquired the SVOD rights to all episodes of former Disney Channel series Dog With A Blog and Austin & Ally.

About 20 Disney Channel Original Movies will also be available to stream, though Hulu didn't disclose which titles in its news announcement.

"We want to be a one stop shop for parents and children," Craig Erwich, head of content at Hulu, told Mashable in an interview earlier this year after the company's Upfront presentation.

The new deal underscores Hulu's efforts to ramp up its kids programming offerings.

Hulu already had a few Disney-ABC Television Group titles including Doc McStuffins and Bunnytown. Recently, the platform became the exclusive home to classic cartoon Curious George.

Hulu also upped its library of Gen Z.-geared content, with the upcoming AwesomenessTV horror series Freakish as well as other titles featuring digital influencers.

The Santa Monica-based streaming service announced in May that its subscriber base has grown over 30% year over year, and will reach 12 million subscribers in the U.S. by this month.

“These new SVOD exclusive Disney titles mark yet another way Hulu is building an irresistible content destination for families," Erwich said in a statement.
