Malaysian webcomic describes the Pokémon-hunting zombie hordes perfectly

Who needs ghosts when you have night-time trainers haunting the earth?

Look out your window at night, and you'll see a new crop of nocturnal loiterers at playgrounds and parks hunting Pokémon.

The mobile game came to Southeast Asia over the weekend just in time for the Hungry Ghost Festival. The month-long period is observed by Buddhists and Taoist communities in countries in the region such as Singapore, Malaysia and Vietnam, where it is believed that souls roam the earth.

Malaysian webcomic author Ernest Ng posted a new strip on Monday to commemorate the launch of Pokémon Go:

In the strip, the spirits are chatting about their plans for the month, before they come to this realm and realise they aren't the only beings haunting the grounds.

Seriously though, the night-time zombie hordes are real.
