Idina Menzel to star in 'Beaches' remake, will def make you cry

Idina Menzel will soon be your hero (again).
The Frozen actress and Broadway superstar will star in a TV remake of Beaches for Lifetime, Mashable has confirmed.
Entertainment Weekly, which first broke the news, notes that Menzel will take on Bette Midler's role of CC from the 1988 classic, which tells the story of two women who come from very different backgrounds meeting on the Venice Boardwalk and becoming lifelong friends.
