Idina Menzel thinks Disney shouldn't hold back anymore.

The Frozen star and voice of the royal character supports the recent fan campaign that asked Disney to give the ice princess a female love interest in the sequel. Menzel is happy to see fans "stirring it up."

"I think it's great," she told ET. "Disney's just gotta contend with that. I'll let them figure it out."

She also adds that she supports it "no matter what."

The campaign was started by 17-year-old fan Alexis Isabel Moncada, who told NBC many LGBT fans see the film as a "metaphor for coming out and accepting who you are."

"The fact that Elsa hasn't been cast a love interest yet leaves room for one," she says.

She started the campaign on social media, using the hashtag #GiveElsaAGirlfriend. It's picked up a lot of steam since then, with thousands of fans throwing support behind the idea.

Now, they have the approval of Elsa herself.
