Idris Elba visits Buckingham Palace, basically looks like James Bond

LONDON -- It's pretty hard to ignore Idris Elba as a possible James Bond candidate when he just looks so damn slick all the time.

The British actor, who is heading down to Buckingham Palace to meet the Queen and receive his OBE award (Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire), shared the following image on Twitter on Friday morning.

Yep, that picture could definitely be a still from pretty much any Bond film.

Elba was named on the New Year's Honours list last December alongside a number of Ebola fighters, journalists, musicians, fellow actors and many others.

Unsurprisingly, Buckingham Palace is just as excited about greeting Bond/Elba as he is about visiting the Palace.
