Confused iguana can't tell the difference between a real and fake orange

When you're hungry, you'll just go in for the kill, no?

The same goes for Igu-chan, Twitter user @merc_kaede17's pet iguana, who's apparently a big fan of juicy citrus fruits.

So much so that when its owner laid out an empty plate with an orange design, the reptile went straight for it and kept trying to grab a bite, to no avail.

After having a bit of fun with Igu-chan, Kaede fed it the real thing.
