It may not feel quite as exciting as receiving a brand new Nintendo Power in your mailbox as a kid, but at least now you don't have to worry about spilling soda all over the spread of the next Mario game.

The Internet Archive is preserving all our Nintendo Power memories by putting all the back issues online. You can flip through the back issues of Nintendo's official magazine, which stopped printing in 2012, and relive your glory days of gaming.

The archive isn't complete -- there looks to be about 13 years worth of issues there now, but its curators seem to be in the process of adding more and more issues. Each issue contains every detail, from full-color game screenshots to thorough level guides. Just like other Internet Archive projects, which include lots of working video games, you can tell there is a lot of care put into preserving the experience.

Nintendo Power had 285 issues, and ran bi-monthly starting in 1988. It went from being published in-house by Nintendo to being produced by Future US until it was discontinued in 2012.

While print may still be dead, this collection probably takes up far less space in your mom's attic.
