Leak reveals intriguing new details about the upcoming iPad Pros
There's not a lot we don't know about Apple's upcoming iPad Pros, thanks to numerous reports we've seen over the past few months. The new tablets are likely to have thinner bezels, no home button, Face ID support, and USB-C instead of a Lightning port.
But a new report by Guilherme Rambo over at 9to5Mac reveals a couple of new, interesting details on how these new features will work.
The report, which cites sources familiar with the development of the new iPad Pros, says the new USB-C port will enable owners to output 4K video to an external display.
Also, the Face ID on the new iPads will work in both landscape and portrait mode, but will not work if you hold the device upside down. The iPads will have the same Face ID tech as the new iPhone XS/XS Max/XR, but it won't have a notched screen.

Finally, the new iPad Pros will have new magnetic connector for accessories, which will include a new Smart Keyboard.
Alongside the new iPads, Apple will launch a new Pencil, which will pair with the iPad as soon as it's near it, similar to how the AirPods sync to the iPhone.
The new iPad Pros will come in two sizes, each as an LTE or Wi-FI-only variant. Apple hasn't announced anything yet, but an October event is still quite likely.
