Can I just say what we all really want to say but are too afraid to? F*ck dongles. All of them.

There, much better. I feel so much better getting that off my chest for the umpteenth time.

By now, it's practically a guarantee this year's new iPhones will not come with a headphone jack.

Apple's neutering that port because it either thinks it's too ancient or needs to use that space to squeeze in other components -- like a better speaker or slimmer design, or...or...IDK something that hasn't leaked out yet.

Wanna use your precious headphones and their dinosaur-old 3.5mm ports? You're gonna need a dongle. Specifically a Lightning-to-headphone-jack dongle that -- surprise, surprise -- won't work with Android phones like the Moto Z that also doesn't have a headphone jack and needs a USB-C-to-headphone-jack dongle.

I lashed out on this impending nonsense. And yes, phones without headphone jacks are indeed annoying AF.

Here's what the Lightning-to-headphone-jack dongle will likely look if this leaked video is to believed:

If Apple wants to please its iSheeps, it'll do the right thing and include this dongle in the box and include a pair of Lightning-based EarPods.

Worst case scenario: Apple makes you pay extra for it. And there's a high chance this could happen because the company loves charging extra for adapters.

Real question: How much would you pay for this dongle? I wouldn't pay more than $5.
