The Trump administration is dead set on Ivanka Trump bridging the gap between the president and wary women after sexual harassment allegations ran rampant throughout Trump's presidential campaign. Thankfully, women around that world continue to give that quick-fix idea a resounding "no."

The first daughter faced an understandably rough crowd at an international women's summit in Germany on Tuesday when she called her father a "tremendous champion of supporting families."

There to participate in panels on empowerment and entrepreneurship at the Women20 Summit, Trump's daughter was met with a booing, hissing audience who clearly disagreed with the notion that President Trump supported women.

Ivanka insisted she has "certainly heard the criticism from the media" concerning her father's attitude toward women, and said through her role in the Trump administration, her goal is "incremental positive change."

Trump also said her father "encouraged me and enabled me to thrive," speaking on "a very personal level" given her close relationship with the president.

Journalists tweeted from the event:

Can you grab them by the p*ssy blame them?
