LONDON -- You've got to hand it to J.K. Rowling -- despite the fact she's probably now published more Donald Trump Twitter burns than she has Harry Potter books, she still never fails to be original.

This time, the subject of her ire was a trademark Trump attack on one of his old enemies: CNN.

Yet again, Rowling's comeback was pure Twitter gold.

And yet again, the internet couldn't get enough of it.

Oddly, today's round of Trump bashing didn't end with Rowling shutting down yet another troll -- this time it ended with an unexpectedly civil exchange.

To be fair, being a Trump-supporting J.K. Rowling fan on Twitter must be a tricky road to navigate.
