If you're taking a short internet break from working on that novel, you could do a lot worse than spending some time on J.K. Rowling's Twitter feed.

It's a perfect reminder that, no matter how ridiculously successful you, you never stop worrying about the quality of your work.

On Monday, the Harry Potter author tweeted her thoughts on a particularly dreaded part of the writing process: the rereading.

Clearly, Rowling touched a nerve. Before long other writers were wading in with their own, similar experiences...

Never, ever underestimate the healing power of biscuits.
