Jackson Wang is blowing up, and maintains a bizarre breakfast routine to stay healthy.

The Hong Kong-born rapper, singer, and dancer broke into the K-Pop industry as a member of the boy band Got7. He's hosted TV shows, performed at Milan Fashion Week, designed collections for Fendi, collaborated with mass media company 88rising, and is launching his first solo album, Mirrors, this month.

How does he get it all done?

Chicken smoothies.

Wang told the Strategist that his daily breakfasts consist of a protein-packed morning smoothie that include leafy greens, fruits, and ... blended chicken breast.

Since Wang needs to maintain a steady intake of nutrients to keep up with his exercise regiment, he used to eat "some chicken breast, a lot of greens, maybe some milk, and some fruits."

But why go through the effort of preparing each component individually? Who has the time to chew?? Clearly not busy K-Pop icons in the making!

"Then I just thought to myself, 'Why don't I put everything in the blender?'" Wang mused in the interview. "Because when you eat it, it goes into your stomach and it's going to be the same anyways."

OK, the logic is sound — but blended (presumably cooked) chicken? Let's just take a moment to let that settle: Blended. Chicken. For breakfast.

Granted, Wang did say he tosses in an orange, greens, "cabbage or spinach," an apple, and a banana into the smoothie. He didn't clarify whether the extra ingredients improve the texture or flavor.

"I know it might sound disgusting, but it's actually a good smoothie," he said. "I have it first thing when I wake up."

Adding chicken to smoothies isn't necessarily a novel concept — bodybuilders who need to quickly build muscle mass do it all the time. Zac Efron told Conan O'Brien that when he needed to gain 17 pounds of muscle to play a Marine in The Lucky One, he drank the chicken sludge.

"I was eating so much chicken breast, the hardest part about it was chewing them. So I would just put it all into a blender, blend it up, and drink chicken," he told a horrified Conan and audience.

Professional bodybuilder Rene Campbell told the Huffington Post that she also drinks liquified chicken in a delightful combination with cabbage and brown rice, describing the taste as "chicken soup gone wrong."

At least Wang's fruity chicken smoothies have some flavor.

Since the dedication to the art runs deep enough to chug what I only imagine tastes like a cross between a chicken salad and a peeled chicken nugget, we have no choice but to stan Jackson Wang.
