The 2016 election has made the impossible come true -- James Franco is a voice of reason.

The actor and whatever else he is endorsed Hillary Clinton for president on Instagram with the highest praise he could think of: "Her secret service name is Hermione, because she's a fucking wizard."

Well, witch, but whatever Franco. Maybe you were trying to avoid gendered language since magical women have it tough.

The whole thing is a Dos Equis commercial parody, of course.

"The smartest guy in the room is always her," asserts Franco in a silky smooth voice. "After she opens a can of whoop ass, she recycles."

Maybe this will dull the pain of Emma Watson's inability to vote.
