The limited edition of 'Assassin's Creed Shadows' has dropped to its lowest-ever price on Amazon

Amazon has recently been having what seems to be clearance sales on its exclusive editions of certain games, including Star Wars Outlaws. And now the Assassin’s Creed series is following suit. As of Jan. 14, you can now buy the Amazon-exclusive Assassin’s Creed Shadows - Limited Edition for $34.99; that’s a huge 50% discount on its launch price of $69.99.
Along with the AC Shadows base game, Amazon’s Limited Edition comes with some decent-looking bonus accessories via the Naoe Sekiryu Character Pack:

The Sekiryu Beast Mount is purely cosmetic with no added gameplay benefits, but it looks great with the rest of the set for an intimidating ensemble. What’s more, this is the lowest price this particular version of AC Shadows has ever been listed for on Amazon, and most likely won’t be at this price point again — since it looks like the retailer might be trying to clear out its extra stock.
Even for just the base game, $34.99 is more than worth it for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, considering all the value you get out of it. As mentioned in our review of AC Shadows, this is the best entry from the long-running Ubisoft series to come out in years — with a gripping story and dual gameplay split between paired protagonists Yasuke and Naoe.
It was a bit buggy at launch, but the various updates implemented since have more than fixed that, and finally getting to play as a titular Assassin in the beautiful land of Japan won’t leave you disappointed.
