TL;DR: T-Mobile is offering its Better Value family plan for over $1,000 less per year vs. comparable plans at Verizon and AT&T.

It’s the start of a brand new year, and if you’ve been thinking about switching up your phone plan for 2026, it’s worth checking out T-Mobile. Right now, the company is offering a stellar Better Value family plan that leaves the competition in the dust.

T-Mobile’s Better Value family plan comes to $143 per month (with three lines, the minimum required), and it’s absolutely stacked with benefits. Alongside the three lines with AutoPay, this plan has nice streaming perks as it sets you up with Netflix, Apple TV, and Hulu, alongside T-Satellite, a five-year price guarantee, and more. The full benefits breakdown is listed below:

  • Netflix (Standard with ads)

  • Apple TV

  • Hulu (With Ads)

  • T-Satellite

  • Unlimited high-speed mobile hotspot data (domestic)

  • 30GB high-speed data in Canada & Mexico

  • 30GB high-speed international data

  • ScamShield Premium

  • Option to upgrade your phone every two years

  • New T-Mobile customers and existing customers get the same great phone deals every two years

Over a full year, that comes to $1,716. A comparable plan at Verizon comes to $260 per month, or $3,120 per year, and a similar plan at AT&T comes to $245.94 per month, or $2,951.28 per year. Compared to these, you’re saving over $1,000 per year with the Better Value family plan at T-Mobile. That's a significant saving.

Keep in mind that adding more lines onto this plan adds more to the cost, but no matter if you choose three, four, or even five lines, T-Mobile’s plan always works out cheaper than Verizon or AT&T. If you’re curious about the cost breakdown as more lines are added, T-Mobile’s Better Value family plan page features a helpful chart that shows you the cost across each company as you add more lines.

If you’ve been searching for a new phone plan for the new year, T-Mobile’s Better Value family plan is surely worth a look.
