Eyeing up a Kindle Scribe but want to save some money in the process? Amazon has heard you, because as of Jan. 27, there’s a great new deal on a like-new model.

Don't be put off by refurbished versions of the Kindle. Amazon states that these devices have all been “refurbished, tested, and certified to look and work like new and come with the same limited warranty as a new device,” so you know you’re as protected as you are with a new model. And it’s cheaper. Right now at Amazon, this 32GB option is reduced to $260.99. Amazon price tracker camelcamelcamel has stamped this one as a “good deal.”

If you’re not familiar with the Kindle Scribe, this is like a two-in-one device, combining an e-reader and a digital notebook. It has a 10.2-inch glare-free, 300-ppi front-lit display that’s comfortable to read and write on in any light, plus a Premium Pen that makes it feel like you’re actually writing on paper.

And not only can you draw and take notes, you can actually write directly on books using Active Canvas. You can even convert your handwriting to text, and built-in AI tools will let you summarize and edit your notes.
