SAVE $5: As of Jan. 31, get the 32 oz. Hydro Flask All Around Travel Tumbler at Amazon for $34.95 in select colors. That's $5 off its normal price of $39.95 and a discount of 13%.

Carrying water in a huge tumbler is trendy again, and if you don't have a massive Stanley cup covered in stickers with a special bag to carry it in, are you even relevant? Joking aside, the cup has been an insanely trendy buy for months now, as seen on TikTok and in the hands of the impossibly cool water-drinkers walking around your local Target.

But that may be changing as fans are concerned their beloved Stanley "Quencher" tumblers might actually contain lead. After a battery of positive lead tests performed by Stanley cup owners has hit social media, competitors like Hydro Flask have taken aim at the popular brand, assuring customers that their alternative cups are lead-free, and always have been.

Meanwhile, Stanley has confirmed in a statement that its cups do contain lead, but not at dangerous enough levels for customers to be concerned. The only risk, the company claims, is if buyers are somehow exposed to the "sealing dot" at the bottom of the cup.

You'll have to make your own decisions on whether you should ditch the Stanley based on social media's test results and what the experts have to say. But if you want to be absolutely sure you won't be exposed to lead regularly, you might think about grabbing an alternative.

Hydro Flask, which has gone on record to say its sealing process does not involve lead, is another flashy tumbler alternative with a variety of colors and styles to rival Stanley. And right now, if you're ready to move on from your former beloved water vessel, you can grab a Hydro Flask on sale right now at Amazon.

As of Jan. 31, you can get the 32 oz. Hydro Flask All Around Travel Tumbler at Amazon for just $34.95. That's $5 off its normal price of $39.95, and a discount of 13%. There are several colors available, and if you want to upgrade to the 40 oz. version, you can snag one of those for $39.95, down from $45.95.

These double-wall vacuum insulated cups come with the same sipping straw you get with the Stanley, and they even look similar, what with the same silhouette and curved handle. They're crafted from 18/8 pro-grade stainless steel, so they can withstand banging and clanging around, but most importantly, they'll hold your favorite beverages all day long.
