Magic: The Gathering crossover sets don’t usually hang around at reasonable prices for long, especially when they pull in fans outside the usual MTG crowd. Marvel’s Spider-Man has been one of those releases, with strong demand from both Magic players and comic fans pushing prices well above launch levels for months. That being said, the market for some of MTG’s new sets seems to be calming down.

As of Jan. 8, the Magic: The Gathering Marvel’s Spider-Man Play Booster Box has dropped to $104.99 at Amazon; confirmed when checking price tracker camelcamelcamel, this marks its lowest price to date. That’s a notable 20% drop from its typical price of around $131, and a steep fall from the much higher prices seen closer to release. For a full 30-pack booster display, this is about as affordable as this set has ever been.

This price cut is especially surprising since it further undercuts listings at dedicated trading card sites like TCGplayer, while also putting it more in line with its market value of just over $100. At the lowest, TCGplayer is selling the MTG Spider-Man Player Booster Box for $164.94 when shipping costs are considered — making Amazon’s selection the best choice by a mile.

Each box includes 30 Play Boosters, with 14 cards per pack. You’re guaranteed at least one rare or mythic rare and one Traditional Foil card in every booster, giving you plenty of chances at standout pulls while also providing enough packs to support multiple draft nights. Play Boosters are designed to give you a balance between cracking packs for fun and actually give you enough cards to make a decent deck for playing, which makes a full box especially appealing at this price.

The Spider-Man set isn’t the only MTG bargain going right now; the Magic: The Gathering Tarkir Dragonstorm Booster Box has been on sale at Amazon, as well. Meanwhile, preorders on the MTG Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Play Booster Box are down to the lowest-ever price at Amazon.
