Janet Jackson postpones tour to 'plan a family' with her husband

Janet Jackson is postponing her Unbreakable tour for the happiest reason ever. 

She and husband Wissam Al Mana are getting ready to start a family, says Jackson. She shared the news in a short video posted to her official social media accounts. 

"My husband and I are planning our family," she says. "So I'm gonna have to delay the tour."

The singer, who is 49, says it's "important that I do this now."

"I have to rest up, doctor's orders," she adds. "But I have not forgotten about you. I will continue the tour as soon as I possibly can."

She ended the video by thanking people working on her tour, including her dancers and LiveNation. 

"It's been a long journey and you guys have been there each and every step of the way and I really do appreciate that," she says. "Insha'a Allah, I will see you soon." 

Last December, the singer had to postpone the tour due to an unspecified surgery. Rumors flew that she had cancer, which she swiftly denied
