Jared Kushner, who remains responsible for approximately one million percent of the president's agenda, doesn't always get the respect he demands.

Just yesterday, our little boy wonder-how-he-got-here got stuck for almost two minutes outside the locked Office of the US Trade Representative.

Inside, government officials were set to debate the future of NAFTA. Outside, Kushner was awkwardly calling people on his phone while reporters barked questions at him.

At least we got this painful moment out of it.

It took only minutes for Twitter to give him the VEEP treatment.

As commentators have pointed out, the Trump era does feel like an episode of Veep -- except there's nothing funny about baby Gitmo and the possibility of World War III.

Still, moments like this give me unspeakable amounts of joy. If anyone outside the White House could padlock the entrance to Trump's McDonalds' stash right now, I'd really really appreciate it.
