Jared Leto follows his heart, buys his dream jacket
Jared Leto is a complex actor with big dreams -- one of them being to rock this green Gucci jacket.
On Wednesday the actor followed his heart and made a bold fashion statement at the London Suicide Squad movie premiere, which led some to compare him to fashion icons like Buddy the Elf, residents of Emerald City and a tube of mascara.
While at first glance the interesting fashion choice may seem like it was thrown together last-minute, Reddit user kneeco28 posted a photograph which proved Leto fell in love with the jacket at first sight a month ago.

UPDATE: Aug. 4, 2016, 1:46 p.m. EDT -Jared Leto commented on the photograph to Vanity Fair.
On Thursday in an interview with Vanity Fair.com, Leto addressed the photograph-turned-Internet meme and much to our dismay, he claims he was not looking at the green jacket at that particular moment.
Leto told Vanity Fair via phone, "The thing about the photo is — I’m going to be honest with you— I was actually making a face at someone across the runway."
“Sorry to ruin your meme,” the actor said. “Perception versus reality.”
