On a magical night 22 years ago, Jason Priestley punched Harvey Weinstein in the face
Let's give it up for Jason Priestley, the unlikeliest hero man of 2017.
The Beverly Hills 90210 heartthrob took to Twitter on Friday with a story about the time he punched disgraced Hollywood power player Harvey Weinstein in the face. It was actor Tara Strong who first hinted at the story, in a response to the revelation that Weinstein had blacklisted Ashley Judd and Mira Sorvino.

The internet wasn't about to let such a sensational detail lie. Prompted by questions on Twitter, Priestley stepped in to share his own version of what happened at a Miramax-hosted Golden Globes party in 1995.
To his credit, Priestley didn't try to frame the narrative around an altercation with Weinstein influencing his career in some way, as Strong suggested. He simply shared a story of that time he punched an asshole in the face.
