When you live the life Jay-Z lives, you need to know your angles—even if that means faking a little cheese for the camera from time to time.

The rapper and mogul was spotted court side during Game 1 of the NBA Finals, and before the game between the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers ended, he chatted it up with some famous faces, one of them being Kevin Hart. The best part of their encounter was not the photos that emerged, though, but the video of the moments before the lens clicked.

The two first pose for a classic arm-over-the-shoulder friend pose, then shake hands as they laugh before Jay hits the photographer with specific instructions. "Take the photo while we're laughing," he tells the person behind the camera, Hart just continues lol'ing it up.

Some who caught the behind-the-scenes moment weren't too impressed with Hov's fronting for the photo, while others laughed at his joke.

Gotta do what you gotta do for the 'gram.
