Jay-Z reopens iconic Webster Hall with guests and a powerful Nipsey Hussle shout-out
New York's legendary Webster Hall music venue returned with a bang Friday night.
After being closed since August 2017 for renovations, rapper and business mogul Jay-Z reopened the 1,400-person venue to a sold-out crowd.
He also didn't do it alone. Jay-Z surprised fans with a couple of special guests that no doubt turned things up to 11.
Jay-Z's "B-Sides 2" show reportedly included alternative versions his classic tracks as well as popular songs like "Lucifer," "Where I'm From," and "Dear Summer" according to USA Today.
Joining the rapper in the reopening of the iconic music venue were Nas, Cam'ron, and Jim Jones. Nas and Jay-Z performed several tracks, including their 2007 collab track "Success" and "Dead Presidents."

While the crowd went "wild" over the special guest appearances, according to BET, it was Jay-Z's tribute to recently rapper Nipsey Hussle, who was gunned down outside his clothing store in Los Angeles in March, that really got attendees amped.
