It turns out money doesn't buy confidence.

Internationally known rich person Jeff Bezos demonstrated a perhaps unsurprisingly thin skin Monday while making a rather odd joke aimed at actor Leonardo DiCaprio. Bezos, it seems, wants to get DiCaprio near a steep cliff with a fatal drop.

That revelation came in the form of a tweet from the billionaire, which itself was in response to a tweet showing Lauren Sanchez, Bezos' girlfriend, speaking with DiCaprio.

That, it seems, is an offense too great for the noted photo-op fan.

"Leo, come over here, I want to show you something…" wrote Bezos. That request accompanied a photo of the shirtless billionaire, menacingly posed behind a sign reading "Danger! Steep Cliff Fatal Drop."

And yes, Bezos tagged DiCaprio's twitter account.

And while much could be written about someone like Bezos quote tweeting Barstool Sports, let's just instead agree on how sad the entire exchange is and leave it at that.

DiCaprio, whose Twitter account is focused mainly on climate change, had not responded to Bezos as of the time of this writing.
