Looking for another terrifying 2017 moment to keep you up at night? We can't imagine why, but here ya go: Jeff Bezos in a giant mechanical robot suit. Woo!

The filthy rich Amazon CEO and Oscars attendee (lol) suited up in the 13-foot-tall mechanical armor to get a taste of the supervillain life and I guess try to ease everyone into this new weird world we live in where very little makes sense.

Anyways, Bezos hopped in this mechanical robot, known as the Method-2, and went full-on Avatar to demo the technology at Amazon's annual MARS conference -- an elite gathering that offers a glimpse at innovative Machine-Learning Automation, Robotics and Space Exploration technology. Get it? MARS.

The Method-2 robot is a product of the South Korean company, Hankook Mirae Technology. According to his Instagram page, the designer, Vitaly Bulgarov, has worked with Panasonic, Dreamworks, Intel, MGM, Paramount and more, which explains why the design looks like it belongs in an action movie.

Even Bezos felt like he belonged on the big screen. "Why do I feel so much like Sigourney Weaver?" he asked during the demonstration, while furiously flailing his new robotic limbs.

As to be expected, Twitter users who observed the unconventional sight couldn't help but troll Bezos a bit, comparing him to a few other notable robots.

For all we know, Bezos and his rocket rival, Elon Musk could settle their measuring contest with a robot duel in the future.

The possibilities are terrifyingly endless.
