On Wednesday, it was announced that longtime “The Daily Show” correspondent Jessica Williams would be leaving the show to create her own program on Comedy Central.

Host Trevor Noah introduced Williams’ final report -- declaring it a “bittersweet moment” -- and Williams delivered her final passionate piece about Bernie Sanders supporters who plan to vote for Donald Trump instead of Hillary Clinton.

The report began with a beloved Williams voiceover, "After an impassioned Democratic primary between the Curb Your Enthusiasm guy and the Mother of Dragons, the voting is finally over.”

“With Hillary Clinton as their nominee," she said, "the Democratic Party has united without controversy. J.K., y’all. I’m fucking with you!”

Williams went on to discuss her complete and utter confusion as to how anyone who favored Bernie could possibly appreciate Trump.

“I don’t get it,” the correspondent said. “How do you go from a left-wing progressive like Bernie to a man who worships money only slightly less than he worships himself?”

Asked what Sanders and Trump have in common, the best they could up with was, “They both want to be president.” As Williams explained to them, “They are literally opposite people.”
