Jim Parsons' major Instagram slip up ruined Kaley Cuoco's surprise birthday
Not really understanding the social cues of a surprise birthday party and inadvertently ruining the whole thing for everybody is a very Sheldon Cooper thing to do.
But, Jim Parsons was not in character of the socially awkward and adorable physicist when he ruined Big Bang Theory co-star Kaley Cuoco's surprise birthday on the set of the show.
Parsons' birthday blunder was not so much do to with any kind of ill-will as it was a lack of understanding how Instagram notifications work.
Parsons shared a photo of Cuoco's birthday cake hidden from view. "Almost time..." Parsons wrote, and even added the word "Shhh...." But then Parsons went on to tag the birthday girl herself in the post, rendering his "Shhh...."
Totally unnecessary.
Parsons must quickly have realised his slip up, because shortly after he shared another photo of a clearly disappointed Cuoco.
Happy Birthday anyway, Kaley.
