Here's your daily dose of inspiration.

Jimmy Choi -- a 41-year-old tech consultant in Illinois -- ran the American Ninja Warrior obstacle course yesterday (Jul 3).

Choi -- who was only 27 when he was diagnosed with young-onset Parkinson's disease -- is also an endurance athlete who has completed 12 marathons and 76 half-marathons as of last year.

He was cheered on by many, both online and offline:

Choi, who made it to the third section of the notoriously difficult obstacle course, wrote on the Michael J. Fox Foundation Twitter account that he only had six weeks to train:

The foundation, which is dedicated to Parkinson's research, lauded Choi for his inspirational warrior spirit, and aired a special message from their founder, actor Michael J. Fox, before Choi went on his race.

Run on, Jimmy!
