LONDON -- J.K. Rowling is not shy about calling people out on social media.

In a clearly exasperated tweet, the novelist includes the link to a website featuring her image along with a warning: "Don't waste your money, people."

The website purports to offer three-day workshops that help participants "Become an Author and Show You How To Double... or Even Triple... Your Income!"

"Look, I don’t blame you for being sceptical… All those hyped-up, over-promised sales pitches out there can make you a disbeliever… and yes, they annoy me too. But this is different - A lot different!" the website reassures.

Mashable has reached out to the website in question for comment, but has not yet received a response.

In the meantime, if you wish to reserve your place at one of the workshops, best to hurry because according to the page's time-ticker, "the REMAINING tickets won't last long!" (unless you refresh the page, which starts the timer over).
