J.K. Rowling just can't stay out of this ongoing feud between Scottish libraries

LONDON -- Remember when J.K. Rowling settled that feud between Orkney Library and Shetland Library by rocking up to Orkney one day and paying them a surprise visit?

Rowling inadvertently gave Orkney Library the ultimate piece of ammunition in their ongoing Twitter war with Shetland Library -- and now, weeks, later she's still chipping in.

Things kicked off again Tuesday morning, when Orkney Library got their account verified and decided to rub their blue tick in Sheltand Library's face.

Burn.

Shetland Library, however, were undeterred.




Sadly for Shetland, though, Orkney Library has friends in high places. 





How can you compete with allies like that?

Despite Orkney's celebrity backing, though, Shetland still received support from loyal fans.


And, at the end of the day -- despite Orkney's sick opening burn -- the round still ended in a stalemate.
