LONDON -- Whether she's talking politics or Harry Potter, J.K. Rowling is not shy about sharing her opinions on Twitter.

On Thursday, Simon Zerafa tweeted the British author to ask what she thought about a Dumbledore fan theory discussed recently in a YouTube video.

The theory basically argues that Fawkes the Phoenix was actually a Horcrux created by Dumbledore -- not through a wish for immortality, but as a way to extricate his feelings of guilt over the death of his sister.

Rowling's response came nine minutes later.

We're guessing that's a no, then.

People were quick to support Rowling in their comments.

The theory itself -- however unlikely the TL;DR version sounds -- is well put together, but Rowling's response doesn't leave much room for doubt.
