Joe Biden to appear on 'Law & Order: SVU'

Joe Biden may not be the acting Vice President much longer, but he's already got a new gig lined up.

VP Biden will appear on a forthcoming episode of NBC's long-running Law & Order: SVU.

“While in New York, the Vice President will tape an appearance on ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit’ on the rape kit backlog and efforts to end violence against women,” the White House said in a statement to Politico.

Biden, who famously was a driving force behind 1994's Violence Against Women Act, has made raising awareness about sexual assault one of his main causes the last few years.

Earlier in 2016, he introduced Lady Gaga at the Oscars while telling viewers about It's On Us, the Obama administration's initiative to end sexual assault on college campuses.
