Australian politician says he's Johnny Depp's 'Hannibal Lecter' after infamous apology video
Johnny Depp versus the great nation of Australia is a war without end.
The infamous video apology Depp and his partner Amber Heard made after getting caught illegally sneaking their dogs, Pistol and Boo, into Australia in 2015 was one of the best things anyone had seen all year.
We now know what Depp looks like when his soul leaves his body, and we now know he holds a grudge as well.

Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live Tuesday night, Depp shared a behind-the-scenes look at the process of making the classic video. He also took the opportunity to throw shade at the Australian politician who gave them a hard time Down Under, Deputy Prime Minister Barnaby Joyce.
"He looks somehow, like, inbred with a tomato," Depp said, referring to Joyce as "Barnaby Jones."
"It's not a criticism. I was a little worried ... just he might explode," he said.
Depp also talked about the video's director -- the iPhone -- and insisted he never watched the apology before sending it off.
"No, because I didn't want to kill myself," he said.
Of course, it didn't take long for the hunter of Pistol and Boo to hit back. Joyce stood up at a press conference Wednesday, and declared he had become Depp's arch-nemesis.
"I think I'm turning into Johnny Depp's Hannibal Lecter, aren't I?" Joyce said, according to ABC News.
"I'm inside his head, I'm pulling little strings and pulling little levers. Long after I've forgotten about Mr Depp, he's remembering me."
Joyce was also asked what kind of vegetable he'd like to be compared to. Guess what, it's not a tomato.
"Something sleek and sensitive, just like me," he said.
The war is not over, folks. Not over at all.
