LOS ANGELES -- Josh Hutcherson is headed to Hulu for comedy series Future Man.

Hulu announced Friday that it has picked up a full series order for the 13-episode half hour comedy series from Sony Pictures Television. The show follows Josh Futterman (played by Hutcherson), "an uninspired and dejected gamer who quickly becomes earth’s unlikely hero."

Futterman is a janitor by day and a gamer by night. He is "recruited by mysterious visitors to travel through time in order to prevent the extinction of humanity," according to Hulu's release.
