SAVE $200: The Anker Solix EverFrost 2 electric cooler (40 liter) is on sale at Amazon for $699.99, down from the standard price of $899.99. That's a 22% discount that matches the lowest price we've ever seen at Amazon.

When you're heading out on a road trip or a long weekend at the campground, you no longer need to exclusively eat peanut butter sandwiches and pasta. These days, we have portable options that can keep your food chilled for days at a time. If your summer adventures could use an upgrade, there's a great electric cooler on sale today at Amazon ahead of Prime Day.

As of June 24, the Anker Solix EverFrost 2 (40-liter) electric cooler is on sale for $699.99 at Amazon, marked down from the usual price of $899.99. That takes $200 off the price thanks to a 22% discount. The sale price matches the record-low at Amazon.

We're still a few weeks away from the official start of Prime Day, but that doesn't mean the deals are running dry. We're already seeing record low prices when it comes to kitchenware, robot vacuums, and plenty of great books for summer reading. But if your summer vacation plans involve a road trip, a camping adventure, or staying in an off-grid cabin in the forest, the Anker Solix EverFrost 2 is the deal for you.

This electric cooler means you'll no longer have to deal with ice creating a soggy mess in the cooler. Instead, you'll be harnessing the power of electric cooling thanks to the 288Wh battery. The cooler comes with just one battery, but it has room for two, which means you could upgrade to get even longer cooling this summer. You could put the extra battery on your wish list for upcoming winter holidays.

With the one battery, you'll be in line for cooling your food for up to 4.3 days. When you need to recharge, you have four options. You can use a standard wall outlet, the 12 volt socket in the car, USB-C, or go with solar. Using a 100W solar panel, you'll be recharged in under four hours. That could be perfect for outdoor adventures.

The 40-liter capacity of the Solix EverFrost 2 means you'll be able to store the equivalent of 63 cans. The electric cooler can operate in three cooling modes, including an eco mode that extends the battery life by up to 13 hours. When in max mode, the cooler can go from 77 degrees down to 32 in just 15 minutes. Plus, the Anker app allows you to control the cooler from anywhere and monitor the battery life.

Speaking of the battery, you can remove the battery from the cooler and use it to recharge your devices. There's a USB-A and a USB-C port on the battery, which can serve as a portable power bank should you want to recharge your phone.

Ditch the messy ice-chilled cooler this summer and opt for an electric cooler instead. Ahead of Prime Day, the Anker Solix EverCool 2 is back at its record-low price of $699.99 at Amazon. The 40-liter capacity means you'll be well stocked for your next off-grid trip.
