Prime Day is less than two weeks away now, but we already have eyes on some great deals if you don't feel like waiting. Fitness trackers are always a highlight of major Amazon sales, and that's proving to be true ahead of the biggest Prime Day yet, which is giving us four days of shopping instead of the usual two. If you need a new smartwatch that's a great fitness tracker, check out this early Prime Day deal.

As of June 25, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 (44mm, silver) is on at Amazon for $229.99, marked down from the list price of $329.99. That's a 30% discount that matches the lowest price we've ever seen at Amazon. It also beats the sale price at Samsung, which is currently sitting at $249.99 for the 44mm version in silver.

Announced in 2024, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 packs in the fitness tracking features. You'll get the standard metrics that we've come to rely on with fitness trackers like a step count, sleep scores, and heart rate information. But the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 also comes with some bonus features that are less common on fitness trackers. For starters, the watch has a sleep apnea detection function, which can help alert you if you have moderate to severe sleep apnea.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 is also great if you're a competitive athlete in terms of beating your old records. The Galaxy Watch 7 compares your current performance to previous efforts, giving you better insight into progress.

When Mashable Tech Editor Kimberly Gedeon compared the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 to the Apple Watch Series 9, she found the Galaxy Watch won when it came to health tracking and price, which is even more true now that it's $100 off.

If your summer workout goals could use a bit of extra motivation, snag the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 while it's down to $229.99 at Amazon. Grabbing this now will mean you'll be ahead of the game in scoring Prime Day deals, and your summer workout tracking can begin ASAP.
