Justin Bieber probably doesn't know what Netflix and chill means

He takes the lyrics to "Love Yourself" very seriously.

"I'm better sleeping on my own," crooned Justin Bieber in "Love Yourself" and he means it.

The singer, who was most recently linked to actress and billionaire's daughter Nicola Peltz, participated in the celebrity hobby du jour -- posting emotional screenshots of iPhone notes on their social media accounts --  to stand firmly by the lyrics.

First, he discussed his faith.

And then, he either extolled the virtues of masturbation  ("Love Yourself" indeed) or displayed a profound lack of understanding for what people talk about when they talk about "Netflix and chill."

Either way, we're proud of Bieber's personal growth lately and sincerely hope he's able to locate a phone charger soon. Or not! Maybe he should just take some time to feed the squirrels
