Remember that Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen guy? Justin Bieber does.

The duo are teaming up together for a new Japanese commercial, in what could be the most unlikely bromance of 2017.

The actual commercial, for Japanese telecommunications company SoftBank, has yet to air, but a behind-the-scenes video has just been released and is getting shared quickly in Japan.

Japanese singer Piko-Taro took the Internet by storm last year after his song PPAP, which has been viewed over 113 million times, went viral.

Bieber had previously tweeted about the PPAP song, saying it was his "favourite video on the Internet."

This isn't the first time Piko-Taro has worked with famous celebrities, such as Cookie Monster and Elmo from Sesame Street Japan, to name a few.

Still, there's no doubt this is going to be an epic collab. Whether that is epically good or bad remains to be seen.
