Between watching Harvey Weinstein's downfall on 100 TVs and children rising up out of post-apocalyptic dust to tell us to "wake up!" you might have noticed something familiar in Justin Timberlake's new video.

JT released the newest single off his upcoming Man of the Woods on Thursday, with the brazenly boring title of "Supplies." While the song itself is a mellow thumper that promises Jessica Biel she can rely on him because of his titular supplies, the video is very odd.

It looks like JT asked Yahoo Answers "What is woke?" and then visualized the replies.

Remind yourself that Justin wants to be a Man of the Woods and so he's still figuring some stuff out.

HOWEVER.

Halfway through the video, which is directed by Dave Meyers, we see a bunch of people all bowing down to a pyramid until one brazen woman throws a Molotov cocktail at it, tearing the mother down.

This is incredibly similar to Apple's famous 1984 Super Bowl commercial. Incredibly similar.

In this classic introduction to the Macintosh personal computer, lifeless drones listen to a speaker tell them about conformity and obedience. Until one brave woman tears the mother down with a sledgehammer.

While the stylings are different the basic premise and short plot are exactly the same, so it's likely an homage.

Look at the approaching woman who wants to tear the mother down.

In Justin's quest to be of the woods, he getting inspiration from just about anywhere, no matter how blatant.

Side note: I kind of like the song.
