Justin Trudeau can save us any day.

The Canadian Prime Minister will be gracing the cover of Marvel's upcoming Civil War II: Choosing Sides, issue #5, coming on August 31st.

Oddly enough, he looks even better in ink form than in real life.

A Marvel spokesperson told Mashable that Trudeau would also be a minor character in the issue -- though he probably won't be blowing up any buildings. Canadians don't do that.

"Alpha Flight, once Canada’s premiere Super Hero team, now working globally for Captain Marvel, seek the advice of their old boss—Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in Civil War II: Choosing Sides #5. Cover features Trudeau at center surrounded by the members of Alpha Flight: Sasquatch (orange guy), Puck (short guy) and Aurora (elvin lady). Iron Man is in the background," said the spokesperson.

Trudeau appears on the cover looking like a ruggedly handsome (and friendly!) boxing champ. Tt's well documented that Trudeau is an accomplished boxer, by the way.

"I didn't want to do a stuffy cover — just like a suit and tie — put his likeness on the cover and call it a day," Toronto-based cartoonist and cover artist Ramón Pérez told the The Canadian Press.

Comic writer Chip Zardsky also told The Canadian Press that he immediately wanted to include Trudeau on the cover when he started writing.

"[Trudeau] seems to be the popular culture association with Canada right now, right behind Drake — and I probably couldn't get Drake in the comic," he said.

Apparently, Trudeau's late father, Pierre (also a former Prime Minister), had also been included in a Marvel comic, Uncanny X-Men, back in 1979.

The Trudeau cover is only a variant cover, which means it is different from the main cover comic. So, keep an eye on those comic book stands or you might miss it.
