At least this golden kale bracelet is for a good cause
Want to show everyone you eat healthy food? Please consider this 18-karat gold kale cuff.
Joan Hornig Jewelry has debuted a line of produce-inspired pieces, including mushroom earrings, cauliflower cuff links and kale and romaine bracelets. And as weird as that sounds, it's for a good cause: proceeds will go to Recipe for Success, a foundation that helps kids grow, eat and appreciate healthy food.
Compared to regular vegetables, veggie jewelry isn't cheap. The kale and romaine cuffs, for example, rings up at a chill $1,400. The mushroom earrings are only (only) $325, but "kale bracelet" just has that ring to it, doesn't it?
While most of the first group of items has already been purchased, you can order veggie jewels of your own by contacting the foundation directly. Yum.
